MEDICAL DEPARTMENT, UNITED STATES ARMY
The volumes comprising the history of the Medical Department of the UnitedStates Army in World War II are divided into two series: (1) The administrativeand operational series, which constitutes a part of the general series of thehistory of the United States Army in World War II, prepared by The SurgeonGeneral and published under the direction of the Chief of Military History; and(2) the professional, or clinical and technical, series, prepared by andpublished under the direction of The Surgeon General. This is one of the volumespublished in the latter series.
