Command Sergeant Majors of Health Services Command (HSC)/MEDCOM

CSM Blagg served from March 1984 to March 1985 as the sixth Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Health Services Command.

Command Sergeant Major Bobby E. Blagg

Command Sergeant Major Bobby Blagg completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at the Medical Training Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. During his military service, his assignments included two tours in Vietnam as an advisor to the Vietnamese Army, Korea and Germany.

Command Sergeant Major Blagg has served as the Command Sergeant Major of the Troop Command, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas; 2nd Medical Battalion and the 7th Medical Command, Europe. In March of 1984, Command Sergeant Major Bobby E. Blagg was assigned to the position of Command Sergeant Major, Health Services Command and is the sixth individual to serve in this position. Command Sergeant Major Blagg attended the 7th Army NCO Academy and served over 30 years in the U.S. Army.

CSM Blagg's decorations include the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Medal with 15 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, the Combat Medical Badge and Aircraft Crewman Badge.
