- H Private Freddie Hanks was taken prisoner after volunteering to enter enemy held territory to rescue 8 wounded soldiers. He managed to escape, returned to friendly lines, and resumed his life saving duties. Second Lieutenant Mary L. Hawkins was an Army Nurse Corps officer
- IJ Technician Fourth Grade Julius E. Johnson crawled 200 yards under heavy artillery, mortar and machine gun fire to treat 15 casualties. After dark he led litter teams to the men.
- K CPT Robert S. Kinoshita, Medical Corps, is a double recipient of the Silver Star as well as a double recipient of the Bronze Star with V device. Private First Class James F. Kimmel and Technician Fourth Class Troy L. Kuykendall extracted three wounded men from a damaged tank while under intense enemy artillery fire.
- L Private First Class Oscar J. Lucas Jr. is a double recipient of the Bronze Star with "V" device.
- M When two members of his litter squad and two infantrymen were wounded by artillery fire, Corporal John E. Myers went to their rescue in spite of the barrage. He then carried each of the four 150 yards to safety.

- W-Z Private First Class John M. Waldrop was a double recipient of the Bronze Star with "V" device. Technician Fifth Grade Leo E. Wonn earned the Bronze Star with "V" device twice in WW II. Technician Fifth Grade Melvin A. Wurm was a double recipient of the Bronze Star with "V" device in WW II
