  • B Private First Class Clayton H. Baublitz is a double recipient of the Bronze Star with "V" device. Captain Joseph D. Bartlett was a Dental Corps officer. First Lieutenant Leonard C. Barney was a Medical Administrative Corps officer
  • C Technician Fourth Grade Eustus H. Corbett was taken prisoner of war while treating his wounded comrades. Technician Fourth Grade Michael Chedrik crawled 6 times into "no man's land" to rescue fallen Soldiers. 1LT Richard Carrier was a Medical Administrative Corps officer.
  • D Second Lieutenant Kenneth T. Devalle was a Medical Administrative Corps officer. Captains Dileo and Dominski were Medical Corps officers.

  • FG Major Lawrence E. Filkin, a Medical Corps officer, Technician Fourth Grade Virgil R. Gage, and Technician Fourth Grade Charles E. Gambill are all double recipients of the Bronze Star with "V" device.
  • H Private Freddie Hanks was taken prisoner after volunteering to enter enemy held territory to rescue 8 wounded soldiers. He managed to escape, returned to friendly lines, and resumed his life saving duties. Second Lieutenant Mary L. Hawkins was an Army Nurse Corps officer
  • IJ Technician Fourth Grade Julius E. Johnson crawled 200 yards under heavy artillery, mortar and machine gun fire to treat 15 casualties. After dark he led litter teams to the men.
  • K CPT Robert S. Kinoshita, Medical Corps, is a double recipient of the Silver Star as well as a double recipient of the Bronze Star with V device. Private First Class James F. Kimmel and Technician Fourth Class Troy L. Kuykendall extracted three wounded men from a damaged tank while under intense enemy artillery fire.
  • L Private First Class Oscar J. Lucas Jr. is a double recipient of the Bronze Star with "V" device.
  • M When two members of his litter squad and two infantrymen were wounded by artillery fire, Corporal John E. Myers went to their rescue in spite of the barrage. He then carried each of the four 150 yards to safety.
  • N-P Although wounded by an enemy shell, Private First Class Norman H. O'Neill went to the aid of other wounded men. He refused to be evacuated and continued administering aid until wounded again an hour later. Major Fred G. Nasr was a Dental Officer
  • Q-S Privates First Class George F. Redwood and James E. Robertson were both awarded the Bronze Star with "V" twice. Private First Class Sidney H. Silverman found himself the only man left to treat one company and a platoon of another. During the battle he treated approximately 75 casualties. 2LT Anna M. Smith was an Army Nurse
  • T-V Private First Class Philip B. Trout was treating casualties when he was wounded in the abdomen by shell fragments. Unable to walk, he crawled to treat casualties until he himself collapsed.
  • W-Z Private First Class John M. Waldrop was a double recipient of the Bronze Star with "V" device. Technician Fifth Grade Leo E. Wonn earned the Bronze Star with "V" device twice in WW II. Technician Fifth Grade Melvin A. Wurm was a double recipient of the Bronze Star with "V" device in WW II
